ABOUT
Adria Marin is an experimental photographer from Los Angeles, California. She first fell in love with photography nearly six years ago when she joined Las Fotos Project. Though she has captured portraits and documentary work in the past, she now resides in New York City and is passionate about continuing her advocacy through political activism and photojournalism at Barnard College of Columbia University. Adria is inspired by her culture and the community around her, and she looks forward to exploring her identity as a first generation, Mexican-Guatemalan American. Not only is she aware of the misrepresentation within the arts, but she hopes to make a positive impact within the photography industry and inspire other young Latina women like herself.
